Happy New Year!

As we kick off a new year, let’s take a moment to reflect on all that we accomplished in the previous year. From organizing community service projects to hosting fundraising events, our club has made a positive impact in the Danville and Sycamore Valley area.
But we can’t rest on our laurels! There is still so much work to be done, and we have an exciting year ahead of us.
In the meantime, let’s make the most of the new year by setting personal and professional goals for ourselves and working together to achieve them. Remember, we are stronger as a club when we work together.
Here’s to a wonderful and productive new year!

We are grateful to all of our members for their generosity and support, which makes it possible for us to make these donations. We look forward to continuing to give back to the community in the coming year and making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.

Harmony Home

We wanted to highlight the success of our Harmony Home gift collection event, organized by the Rotary Club.

Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers and local businesses, we were able to donate Christmas gifts to members of our community who have less. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to bring some cheer to our community and make a difference in the lives of others.

We also want to give a huge shout-out to one of our own, Jack Worthington, who coordinates and delivers our gifts every year.

Jack has a beautiful heart and always makes sure those less fortunate are taken care of. He is always the first to volunteer when someone is in need, truly embodying the spirit of a Rotarian. We are lucky to have him as a member of our club.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Harmony Home gift collection event. Your kindness and generosity have touched the lives of so many, and we are deeply grateful for your support.

DSV Rotary Holiday Dinner

Rotary’s Holiday Party last month was a memorable and fun event, even with the fact that we ended up in a tent outside. Despite the chill, everyone was in high spirits and enjoyed catching up with one another.

It was the first time we had a holiday party since the start of the pandemic, so it was especially nice to get back to some sense of normalcy. Overall, it was a great evening filled with holiday cheer, conversation, and laughter.

It was a truly memorable evening and we are already looking forward to next year’s holiday dinner.

Happy New Year,
from your SonRise family!!

Thank you so much for your generous support and for partnering with us this year!
